Come and rest in the well-known recreational area in Bratislava forest that offers a vast variety of activities and represents the point where touristic trips to the Little Carpathians begin. Its name comes from the disappeared steel river near the third lake in Horna Mlynska valley. This area became a favourite place for locals. On Partizanska meadow there is a huge playground as well as football, volleyball and basketball field, table tennis and petangue.

What to do:

The locality is well-suited for various kinds of sport, family picnics or just for a walk in the forest. The spot that is very popular spot among all fans of football, basketball, volleyball, the table tennis or pétangue is called Partizanska luka. If you are a fitness fan, you can enjoy the fitness assembly nearby. One tip forall visitors eager to know more about the local history and nature: take advantage of the educational trail “Cerveny most – Zelezna studnicka – Kamzik” or the 440-yard-long educational trail with the exposition of all kinds of trees growing around our capital Bratislava. If you like peaceful atmosphere of water, you can borrow one of boats available on the lake Nr. 4 above the Partizanska luka. Very popular among tourists is the view from the top of Kamzik that is accessible by the cable-railway “Zelezna studnicka” – Kamzik”.

How to get there:

The easiest way how to get to Zelezna studnicka is the road at Cerveny most (the Red Bridge) nearby Vojenska nemocnica (the Military Hospital). You can leave your car on the parking area with the capacity 150 parking places or the parking area at the TESCO Lamac with the capacity 1000 parking places. The 500-yard-long path leads you to Partizanska luka. The best way how to get directly to Zelezna studnicka is to use the public transport bus services (the bus line number 43, the route “Patronka – Lesopark”). Kingdom of Goose

 The Bratislava Self-Governing Region and Bratislava Region Tourism are glad to invite you to visit the picturesque municipality of Slovenský Grob which will become the Kingdom of Goose Specialities on 2nd September at 2pm for the second time already. Royal experience will be ensured by the coronation of the King with the attendance of Maria Theresa, accompanied by a royal banquet, period tavern and delicious dishes along with a rich musical as well as cultural programme.
